Terms of Service — RentPulse

These terms are between you and Muhammad Jawwad, the individual developer in Pakistan who publishes RentPulse ("we", "us"). By using RentPulse you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account; this permanently removes your records, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Free use and the one-time purchase

RentPulse is free to use for one property, one unit and one tenant. Unlock RentPulse is a one-time purchase that removes these limits for as long as the app is offered. It is not a subscription and does not renew.

Purchases are processed by Google Play under Google's terms. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy; you can request one through Google Play. A purchase is tied to your Google Play account and can be restored on a new device with Settings → Restore purchase.

Your records and your tenants' details

You own the records you enter. You are responsible for their accuracy and for having a lawful reason to record your tenants' details. We store and process them only to provide the app to you, as our Privacy Policy explains.

What RentPulse is, and isn't

RentPulse is a record-keeping and reminder tool. It calculates rent due, collected and owed from the information you enter. It is not legal, tax, financial or accounting advice, and it does not collect rent or move money. Check important figures yourself before relying on them in a dispute, a tax return or any legal matter.

Reminders are delivered by your phone. We work to make them reliable, but some phones restrict background apps (Settings → If reminders don't arrive explains how to fix this), and we can't guarantee that every reminder arrives on time.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: don't try to access other people's accounts or data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it to get around the purchase, or use it for anything unlawful.

Availability and changes to the app

We may update, change or discontinue features. We will try to give notice of any change that removes something you paid for.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

RentPulse is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from missed reminders, incorrect figures you entered, or decisions you made using the app. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. This does not take away any protection you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and continuing to use RentPulse after a change means you accept it.
